Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect
We collect the information you provide when you create an account (name, email address) and information generated through your use of the service (linked server identifiers, subscription status, usage logs).
Connection records. Audio Passport can relay your mixer’s controls to phones outside your building. When a linked server or a browser connects to that relay, we record the IP address it connected from, the country and data centre the connection was handled in, which account and user it was signed in as, and how much traffic it carried. For a linked server we also keep the address of its most recent connection alongside that server’s record.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve the service, process payments, send account-related communications, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data.
We use the connection records described above to understand which accounts drive our infrastructure costs, to keep one account’s usage from degrading everyone else’s, and to diagnose faults — a venue’s server dropping and re-establishing its connection, for example. They are used for operating the service and for nothing else: we do not build advertising or behavioural profiles from them, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not combine them with data bought from third parties.
3. Data storage
Your data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. Authentication is handled by Auth0. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Each processor operates under its own privacy policy and security standards.
4. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may ask us to delete it at any time — see Deleting your data below.
Connection records are kept for at most three months and are then deleted automatically. The exception is the single most recent address for each linked server, which is overwritten every time that server reconnects — we hold one address, not a history — and which is deleted along with the rest of your account data when you ask us to delete your account. Access to connection records is limited to Audio Passport staff.
5. Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your account and everything associated with it at any time. Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, and say that you want your data deleted. If you signed in through Facebook, Google, or Apple rather than with a password, email us from the address attached to that login, or tell us which one you used — that address is how we identify your account.
We complete the deletion within 30 days. It covers the name and email address held for your account — including the name and email address we received from Facebook, Google, or Apple when you signed in with one of them — your organisation’s roster and saved mixes, your linked servers and the most recent connection address held for each, and any connection records still inside the three-month window described above. Deleting a musician’s account removes that musician; deleting an organisation’s account removes the organisation and everyone in it, so an admin should be sure before asking.
Deletion is permanent and we cannot restore an account afterwards. We keep payment records where tax and accounting law requires it. Removing Audio Passport from your Facebook settings stops Facebook sending us anything further, but it does not by itself delete the account we already hold — email us for that.

We use session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
